Survia's tree-based drag-and-drop builder lets you design surveys with a dynamic structure. Each question becomes a "node," making it easy to create branching paths and complex workflows. Here's how to use it effectively.

Step 1: Open the Tree Builder

Log in to your Survia account and navigate to the Blueprint tab. Select an existing survey or click Create Survey to start a new one.

Step 2: Add Nodes (Questions)

In the tree builder, each question is represented as a node. To add a new question:

Click the Add Field button and choose your question type:

  • Multiple Choice
  • Text Input
  • Rating Scale
  • Dropdown

Step 3: Rearrange Nodes

Drag and drop nodes to reorder your questions. You can also create parent-child relationships to set up branching logic.

Using Conditional Logic, define conditions to guide respondents through the survey based on their answers:

  • Click on the plus icon on the right of the node to create a condition.
  • Add a condition (e.g., "If the answer is 'yes'").
  • Link follow-up questions for dynamic paths.

Step 4: Save and Deploy

Once your tree structure is complete:

  • Click Save to store your survey.
  • Link the blueprint to a widget for embedding or sharing.

With Survia’s tree-based drag-and-drop builder, creating structured, engaging surveys has never been easier. Start building today and unlock the potential of dynamic survey design! 🎉
