Survey Creation
Setting Up Conditional Questions
Conditional questions allow you to create dynamic surveys that adapt based on a respondent's answers. With Survia, you can easily set up conditional logic to guide your respondents down different paths. Here’s how to set it up:
Step 1: Create Your Survey Blueprint
Start by logging into your Survia account and navigating to the Blueprint tab. Select an existing survey or create a new one.

Step 2: Add Your Questions
Add the main questions to your survey using the drag-and-drop builder. You’ll need at least one question that will trigger the conditional logic.

Step 3: Enable Conditional Logic
To apply conditional logic, click on the question that will trigger the next set of questions. Then, click the plus icon to add a match.

Step 4: Set Conditions
Once you’ve added a matching answer you can add the question that follow for that specific answer.
For example, if a respondent selects "yes" to a question, they can be shown a follow-up question that is only relevant to them.
You can set multiple conditions for a question and choose what happens next based on each response.

Step 5: Test Your Conditional Logic
Before finalizing your survey, test the conditional logic to ensure the survey flows as expected. You can preview the survey and check the paths respondents will take based on their answers.
Conditional questions help make your surveys more interactive and relevant for respondents. With Survia, you can create surveys that respond dynamically to the choices your audience makes. Try it out and build smarter, more personalized surveys today! 🎉
